For the BaseCamp at the Locarno Festival, Paf atelier, in collaboration with iiode, envisions a light and immersive installation inspired by the form of a blooming flower.

Conceived as a nomadic shelter, this structure made of translucent veils unfolds in the heart of the courtyard as a gesture of hospitality. It opens and closes with the shifting light and flow of activity, echoing the passing of time—suspended, accelerated, or contemplative.

Balancing transparency, softness, and subtle shifts in scale, the scenography creates a space for rest and exchange—a moment to slow down, reconnect, and feel. A shared cocoon, both intimate and open, where design becomes a vehicle for attuned attention to bodies, rhythms, and encounters.
