For years, Detente has been developing a singular musical universe. From his early 2010's DJ sets to his post-internet trap snares in 2014, now his project has evolved into mixes between computer music and electric guitars, with projects as Life is Life in 2020 on the belgian label Slagwerk, or more recently Ghosts. Each time, he expanded his sonic repertoire. Fragmented human emotions are translated into hyper-naive guitar riffs that are sometimes sincere, sometimes simply ironic disillusionment.

After "Ghosts", Detente released two other projects which are part of the first one : "Ghosts Remixes" (2024) and "Ghosts2: From The Other Side Of The Moon" (2025) as a spin-off of "Ghosts".
